On Thursday, April 28th, I visited one of Chicago's most notorious public housing developments - Cabrini-Green. This was my first time visiting since November 2008. At the time, many  of it's buildings were demolished, but plenty more remained. Over the next two years, the Chicago Housing Authority slowly knocked them down. The process dragged on ( Read more... )
